Available Assistance for Brownfield Assessments and Cleanup

Through grants from EPA, RPC's Brownfield Redevelopment Program provides Phase I and Phase II
environmental site assessments of eligible Brownfield sites in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St.
Bernard, St. Tammany and
Tangipahoa Parishes.

Private owners and companies, non-profit organizations, and public entities are all eligible to receive
assistance.  Please contact the Brownfield Coordinator at (504) 483-8525 to determine eligibility for
specific projects.


How to Enroll a Site into RPC’s Brownfield Program

The first step to receive assistance is to enroll a site in the Brownfields Program.  If you are interested
in enrolling a site into RPC's Brownfields Program, please complete the
Project Proposal Form.  

To submit the Project Proposal Form:

 Email the completed form
along with a map clearly showing the boundaries of the site to:
brownfields@norpc.org; or

 Print the completed form and mail it
along with a map clearly showing the boundaries of the
site
to:
